Our partners at Okoa Refuge exist to restore hope by empowering people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While they are most known for orphan care and resettlement efforts, their ministry extends deep into the community as they focus on planting hundreds of churches and raising up local pastors. This team will have the opportunity each day to assist our partners as they make Jesus known through sharing the gospel in local schools, serving families in mud hut construction projects and providing care through travel clinics that directly serve the newest church plants. This trip will also serve as an opportunity to see firsthand their newest community development projects and empower those that expose the rising concern of human trafficking, domestic violence and child abuse in the Masaka District.
